Water heaters with copper tank

Copper tanks

— copper tanks (more precisely, working tanks) are found among tankless water heaters, but they are not used in storage heaters(see "Water heater type"). It is because copper, on the one hand, perfectly resists temperature extremes, on the other hand, it is heavy, expensive, and also reduces the corrosion resistance of cast iron and aluminium parts of the water supply system (due to the specifics of electrochemical processes). Only for tankless heaters, the mentioned disadvantages are not critical.
