P1 level

— at the first, the lowest security level, only stripe cutting is allowed; the size of paper pieces should not exceed 12 mm in width. In fact, there is no need to talk about keeping secrets in this case, and devices of this level are designed exclusively for public documents.

When destroying optical discs, the first level of secrecy assumes a fragment size of up to 2000 mm². And credit cards at this level are not even cut into pieces — they are only mechanically damaged.
