At the end of the last decade, Cooler Master took a pause for reflection, after which it returned to the market of silent cases in an attempt to win back its place in the sun from Fractal Design and Be quiet. The main weapon in this fight has become a new line of elite silent cases Silencio.

Following the set trends for minimalism, the Cooler Master designers faced the difficult task of giving the Silencio cases an ascetic look and at the same time standing out from the background of the Fractal Design Define and Be quiet Pure Base lines. If you look at the photos, we can safely say that they managed to get a solid five, such an appearance would look like a glove at the presentation of the new Mac Pro. Worthy of praise is the soundproofing of the case, through which only fairly large and loud video cards and frankly lousy power supplies make their way.

The standard equipment of Silencio cases usually includes several dust filters, a pair of silent stock coolers with PWM speed control, anti-vibration pads and several additional expansion slots. For cooling, there are 5-6 slots for installing additional coolers. Or you can just open the front door. However in this case, the noise from the graphics card, power supply and cooling system will be heard much more clearly.

The Silencio line is represented by two cases S400 and S600. The older model S600 belongs to the Midi Tower format and is designed for ATX motherboards, while the S400 is a miniature Mini Tower case that is friendly with micro-ATX motherboards. In addition to conventional cases, Cooler Master also presented Silencio TG modifications with tempered glass viewing windows.
