USB 2.0 HDD
USB v2.0
— classic (full-size) USB connector that provides USB 2.0 connection; it is used in external hard drives exclusively (see "Placement"). This standard provides data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, which is relatively low by today's standards; therefore, this version is gradually being replaced by others, faster and more perfect. Nevertheless, USB 2.0 drives continue to be produced: this interface is inexpensive, and its capabilities are quite enough to work with relatively small amounts of data. In addition, note that a drive with such a plug can also be connected to newer USB connectors — the main thing is that the plug and connector match mechanically.clear | Save List |
