Audio systems with optical input
Optical input
— input for connecting external signal sources (it can be, for example, a DVD player) via an optical wired S/P-DIF interface. With this connection, the audio system plays the role of active acoustics, its amplifier and speakers are used to reproduce sound from an external source. The optical version of S/P-DIF has good noise immunity and allows you to transmit multi-channel audio, but the cables used for such a connection are quite fragile and require some care in handling.optical input | clear | Save List |
