Audio systems with composite output

 

— usually, in this case, a composite video output is meant — an RCA connector for transmitting an analogue video signal over a single cable (a full-sized composite interface includes two more RCA connectors for the left and right audio channels, but in this case a separate RCA output usually plays their role, see the relevant paragraph). This connector is very popular, it is found even in outdated video devices like kinescope TVs; on the other hand, the picture quality in composite video is relatively low, and HD-resolution is not supported.
