Almost every self-respecting manufacturer of components and peripherals has a line of products that come out under the Gaming heading. Usually, this group of products includes classic gaming gadgets that most video game fans can afford. And beautiful, expensive and shiny gaming gadgets usually get catchy names like "Ultimate Power" or "God Killers". Defender GK gaming keyboards are from the same opera.

The basis of this series are full-format membrane keyboards with basic equipment and affordable price tags. The most affordable options can be found for $ 10 with a tail, and the most expensive model will cost a maximum of 35 – 40 evergreens. Excellent examples are the GK-280DL and GK-640DL models, which equally boast a strong metal base, keys with anti-gesting, RGB backlight, water protection and a braided cable.

In the 2020-21 years, Defender decided to make a knight move and literally bombarded the market with inexpensive and very simple mechanical keyboards like the Blitz GK-240L and GK-370L Paladin. Both models are built on the basis of low-cost blue candles and are completely devoid of any additional functions, but at the same time they are almost the only mechanical keyboards on the market that can be bought for less than $ 40.

It is clear that the implementation of the switches themselves, the quality of the keycaps, and the complexity of the illumination of these models remain far behind the hits from Razer, Logitech and SteelSeries, but at the moment (note: summer 2021) this is almost the only option to feel all the charms of mechanical keyboards without giving as much money as for a graphics card.
