Such equipment allows "out of the box" to use the barbecue also as a grill, which is why such models are placed in a separate category. However grills (including those compatible with barbecues) are also sold as separate accessories; however, the accessories included, by definition, is optimally suited to the size of the firebox, which eliminates the hassle of searching and selecting. In addition, it is worth noting that barbecue grills are usually equipped with single grates, where the cooked products are simply placed, while separately sold grates are most often double, and during normal use, the ingredients are supposed to be clamped between the halves of this frame. The second option is more reliable, but it does not allow you to turn over and remove individual pieces (more precisely, for this you will have to open the grate, which is inconvenient and sometimes impossible).
