Electronic key (NFC)

— the e-bike unlock system uses an NFC tag, card, fob, or smartphone. The user brings the key close to the reader on the display or control unit, allowing the bike to enable the electronics, motor, or selected functions. This protection is convenient for city and daily rides, but it should not be seen as a full replacement for a lock: NFC typically blocks the electronics, not physically securing the wheel or frame.
