— most of the "fishing" boots are actually trekking shoes, designed not only for fishermen, but also for other users who often have to walk a lot in nature — hunters, tourists, military, etc. Note that the water resistance of such shoes may be very conditional: many models are made of moisture-resistant materials that can protect the foot from splashes or accidental stepping into a puddle, however, boots are usually not designed for constant exposure to water.
