Tubular expanders

— expanders, the basis of which is an elastic rubber tube. They may have a different design, but anyway, the action of such projectiles is based on stretching the tube. Tubular models are especially popular for leg exercises, but in general they are very versatile and can be used for most parts of the body.

As for the design, one of the most popular varieties of such expanders is the “eight”, or twister. It has a corresponding shape, vaguely reminiscent of the number 8. (In many "eights" the shape of the handles is similar to butterfly wings, but you should not confuse such projectiles with butterfly expanders — the latter are a separate variety described in the corresponding reference item). Another common option is two D-handles connected by a single tube. There are also more specific types of tubular expanders — for example, a double eight, which allows you to simultaneously load arms and legs, round expanders (rings), etc.
