The Dyson Airstrait series includes innovative 2-in-1 stylers that combine the functionalities of a hairdryer and a straightener in one device. Unlike traditional flat irons, Dyson stylers use a powerful airflow directed downward at a 45° angle to create the necessary tension instead of heated plates. A powerful Dyson Hyperdymium motor with a 13-blade impeller, rotating at up to 106,000 RPM, is responsible for generating this airflow. As a result, styling takes much less time, as drying and straightening occur simultaneously, and the process is gentler on hair — it is not damaged by high temperatures. Moreover, the styler's intelligent sensors continuously monitor the temperature to prevent overheating.

The multistylers offer two operating modes: Wet mode for straightening damp hair with three preset temperatures of 80 °C, 110 °C, and 140 °C, and Dry mode for correcting and refreshing styles on dry hair with the option to activate Boost mode for extra power. In addition, for more convenient use, features include a cold shot to set the finished style, a display showing setting information, automatic shutdown if the device is left unattended, and a button lock to prevent accidental presses.
