Host Requirements & Best Practices
To get the best experience:
The system USB-C/USB4/Thunderbolt 3/4 port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode with MST.
Dual 4K 60Hz output is possible only when the host exposes DP 1.4 + Display Stream Compression (DSC); DP 1.2 systems are limited to dual 1080p 60Hz.
Use HDMI 2.0 capable monitors and certified 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 cables to achieve 4K 60Hz
Keep graphics, BIOS, and firmware up to date
If a display is not detected, disconnect power and all cables for 60 seconds, then reconnect.
Charging Guidance
The dock can replace your factory charger for laptops that draw = 65W; notebooks requiring more may charge slowly or lose battery under heavy load.
