I was looking for a powerful and moisture-proof portable acoustics, went through a bunch of options and settled on this model. This is one of the best devices in its class, though its price is also one of the highest. But now on a bike ride I have my own, quite powerful and deep sound. The power and sound quality were very surprising. I was skeptical about portable speakers, and, to be honest, I didn't expect such powerful sound from this "can" at all. At maximum volume, it roars like a stationary sound system that's not of the smallest power, it roars quite maturely, and even at half volume, it's enough for a small company of three or four people. At the same time, the sound quality remains very pleasant, with bass, detailed midrange, and a clear top end. I am pleasantly surprised, very surprised. It works with a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, and there is an option to connect two "cans" to one smartphone to organize a full stereo pair. The possibility of a wired connection has also been preserved, with a regular cable with a 3.5mm jack. Another important feature of this device is its waterproofness. It's not just rainproof, but can withstand being submerged in water, where it can stay at a depth of up to 1 meter for about 30 minutes. I also appreciated the quick system connection to a smartphone using NFC. It's the first time I remember such technology in my smartphone being genuinely useful. High price. At maximum volume, there are still distortions, albeit not very strong, but noticeable. The declared distance of the bluetooth operation of 30 meters does not work, my maximum came out equal to only 11 meters. |
