Model overview based on user reviews
The Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M5 is a directed access point designed for short to medium-range wireless connections. Users have found it to work well within a range of 1 km to 2 km, making it suitable for smaller setups. However, it may not perform as expected over longer distances, such as 5 km, where users have experienced connectivity issues. For those needing extended range, the Ubiquiti NanoStation M5 is recommended as a better alternative. The device supports Wi-Fi 3 (802.11g) and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) standards and operates on the 5 GHz frequency band, with a transmitter power of 23 dBm. It is equipped with internal antennas and is designed for outdoor mounting, capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +75 °C. Despite its limitations over long distances, it remains a reliable option for shorter connections.

I couldn't get it to work over 5 km, so they recommended me to get the Ubiquiti NanoStation M5. It's much better now. I don't understand how such a working range of over 5 km is even possible.
1 km-2 km works fine
long distance bullshit
