An adaptive game controller from Sony designed for video game fans with disabilities. The key idea of the controller is total customization and adaptability to the user’s needs. The flexible layout of buttons makes it possible to rearrange their location, control blocks, set triggers mixed with the main control buttons, and save the most successful layouts using user profiles. But there's more to come.
Using regular 3.5-inch audio cables, the user can connect 4 additional controls to the Sony Access. This can be the most common control button “cross/circle/square/triangle” of increased size, a dedicated side trigger R1/R2/L1/L2, and even a full-fledged 8-position joystick. Key features of the Sony Access gamepad include the ability to store up to three user profiles that can be quickly switched during the game, adjusting the sensitivity of the joysticks and dead zones, and deactivating unnecessary buttons. The controller supports the joint operation of the manipulator with proprietary gamepads from the PlayStation 5 DualSense and DualSense Edge consoles, allowing you to combine different types of manipulators to achieve the best experience.
