Given this card as a gift, it has a great simple exterior design and a small compact size.
Pros: Excellent bandwidth. It has phantom power, allowing for both balanced and unbalanced connections.
However, there are two cons, one is that it can only be installed on Windows with difficulty, by disabling digital signature verification during system boot, which is inconvenient if you're in a hurry and forget about this "triviality" - the card won't work!
The second con outweighs all the card's advantages - a wild high-frequency whistling sound that can't be eliminated in any way. It's everywhere: in microphone and input recordings, in headphones, and particularly annoying is the deafening whistle when connected to an amplifier, even when the sound from the card itself is at the minimum and it's just connected to a power source like a Power Bank. If it weren't a gift, I would have returned it without hesitation; unfortunately, it now just sits idle...
It's a pity, the sound could have been clean and transparent, but the whistling ruins it all... maybe, eventually, it will be disassembled for components...
Excellent audio bandwidth. There is a phantom, you can connect both balance and non-balance.
Wild whistle on everything, installing a driver for Windows...
