"DMC-FX07 equipped with a 28mm LEICA DC wide-angle lens with 3.6x optical zoom (equivalent to 28-102mm in 35mm equivalent) at F2.8, equipped with MEGA OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) intelligent image stabilizer and intelligent ISO sensitivity control The compact DMC-FX07 is equipped with a 2.5-inch LCD screen.

The 28mm LEICA DC lens, housed in a compact body, allows the DMC-FX07 to take advantage of a wide-angle lens for indoor group portraits as well as wide architecture and landscapes. In an effort to prevent blurry images, Panasonic has developed the MEGA OIS optical image stabilization system, which uses the latest lens technology to compensate for hand-shake. This feature is already standard on LUMIX cameras. But there is also the second most important factor in blurring images — the movement of the subject.

To solve this problem, the DMC-FX07 uses the world's first Intelligent ISO Control (hereinafter referred to as IIC) and records images at a maximum ISO 1250 at full resolution using an advanced LSI Venus Engine III image processor. When the IIC system is used, the Venus Engine III image processor detects the movement of the subject and automatically adjusts the ISO sensitivity setting and shutter speed for optimal results in the presence of a moving subject and for the given lighting conditions. Panasonic's excellent Image Stabilization System delivers clear images in all situations. The DMC-FX07 will be available in four colour options — silver, black, blue and red — each with its own exterior finish."
