RP-8000F attracts at first sight. The speakers turned out to be not only massive (109.5x27.7x44.6 cm), but also weighty — 54.4 kg for two, certainly not for a small room. The body of the cabinets is made of high-quality MDF boards in black or brown finishes in ebony, walnut and piano lacquer, and the entire front part is covered with a grill made of dense black fabric. For easy installation and aesthetic appearance, the speakers are equipped with strong aluminium stands on 4 supports.

Volume above the roof

We were pleased with the acoustics and remarkable power — for each speaker it accounts for as much as 150 watts. Two bands reproduce sound in the frequency range of 32 – 25,000 Hz with crystal clarity, deep bass and impeccable detail. A horn tweeter with a titanium diaphragm and 2 ceramic-metal woofers with a diameter of 203 mm are responsible for all this.

The rectangular Tractrix reflex port at the rear of the cabinet greatly improves bass transmission, but it is better not to place the speakers too close to the wall so as not to restrict the airflow. The speakers support Bi-Amping/Bi-Wiring so each band gets enough power to increase speaker efficiency.
