High-performance internal dual-band adapter from 2020 for creating wireless connections of Wi-Fi 6/6E (802.11n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 standards. The Wi-Fi 6E standard allows the use of an additional 6 GHz band, enabling high-speed parallel data transmission with low latencies to multiple client devices (including IoT devices). It is positioned as a mid-range product aimed at use in desktop computers and laptops.
Connects to the M.2 port, which is equipped on many current models of Intel and AMD motherboard platforms. It has a compact casing-less design (form-factor 2230 with dimensions of 22x30x2.4 mm). Easily fits on full-size and compact boards of ATX, microATX, mini-ITX, and SFF standards. Thanks to its light weight (3 g), it is perfect for installation in laptops and ultrabooks.
It boasts an impressive theoretical throughput of up to 3000 Mbps (cumulatively in the 2.4/5/6 GHz bands). To practically utilize the high-speed data transmission advantages of the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 Wi-Fi adapter, it is necessary that the entire wireless infrastructure, including the router or access point, complies with Wi-Fi 6/6E specifications with support for OFDMA and MU-MIMO 2x2 technologies.
