Compact, energy efficient and productive 3-in-1 multifunctional with low printing costs, built-in networking and 2.4" color display. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the middle price category, designed for a small or medium office. Can perform the functions of a monochrome / color inkjet printer with support for two-sided (duplex) printing, an A4 flatbed scanner with automatic document feeder (ADF, up to 30 pages) and a copier with the ability to quickly scale.
It features a new generation of factory continuous ink supply system (CISS) with frontal tanks, containers with a built-in valve that protects against accidental spills, and an improved filling system. The attractive cost of ownership of the Epson EcoTank ET-3850 MFP is explained by the fact that the cost of ink containers is much less than the price of branded cartridges, while the ink in the containers is 8-10 times more.
In addition, all operations related to refueling are optimized in such a way that any user can handle them on their own. The advantages of this model also include equipment with different types of interfaces: Wi-Fi, Fast Ethernet LAN and USB. Thanks to this, the MFP can be easily connected directly to a PC, all-in-one, workstation, or fully integrated into a workgroup's local cable / wireless network.

This miracle is working, it prints normally, but there is one huge minus - it is impossible to disable double-sided printing, absolutely everything prints double-sided. It's a pain. Maybe it is possible to do this with other drivers, but with the ones that it installed by default - no. There, when choosing the type, in the double-sided printing subsection, there is only a long or short side, and there is no way to turn it off. In previous versions of this printer, it was possible to print on very long sheets, that is, A4 width, and in terms of length - at least one and a half meters, you can change everything in the settings.
