The robot vacuum cleaner is the flagship model in the Dreame product range, so it is not cheap and has advanced functions for more efficient work. It can be called a universal assistant, since it performs dry and wet cleaning at the same time. High suction power of 12,000 Pa allows you to clean parquet, tiles or shag carpet. The rubberized turbo brush carefully picks up dry debris and prevents hair and pet fur from getting tangled, while the side brush sweeps dust from hard-to-reach places along walls and in corners.

For wet cleaning there are two round nozzles that rotate during operation and scrub dry stains well. The big advantage of the robot is that it can determine the type of coating and the level of contamination. So, when arriving on the carpet, he raises the mop attachments so as not to leave behind wet marks, or even leaves them at the station. It also recognizes types of dirt, detecting difficult and sticky stains and selecting a more intensive wet cleaning mode to clean them, and increases power when entering the carpet.

For navigation, Dreame X40 Ultra uses a laser rangefinder and an RGB camera with artificial intelligence. Thanks to them, the vacuum cleaner recognizes more than 80 types of obstacles: children's toys, shoes, cords, etc. It is well oriented in space, avoids collisions with furniture, creates separate maps for four floors and “sees” even in the dark due to backlighting. A single charge of the 6400 mAh battery provides an average of almost 200 minutes of battery life, which is enough to clean the entire house.

There is a convenient mobile application for control, and the device also understands voice commands thanks to synchronization with Google Home, Siri and Alexa. But the main feature of the model is the station, which not only charges the robot’s battery, but also cleans its attachments. Inside there are tanks for clean and dirty water with a volume of 4.5 and 4 liters, a small reservoir for adding detergent and a replaceable bag for dry waste with a capacity of 3.2 liters, which requires cleaning on average every 75 days. The station unloads the collected garbage from the dust container, can refill the vacuum cleaner with water if necessary, washes the mop attachments with hot water and dries them with heated air to avoid the appearance of mold, bacteria and unpleasant odors.
