The 2025 Roborock robot vacuum cleaner is a versatile model designed for both dry and wet cleaning. With a suction power of 10,000 Pa, it effectively cleans debris on both hard floors and carpets. The vacuum features a rubber V-shaped brush with a ribbed surface that adapts to the surface contours, thoroughly collecting debris and preventing hair and pet fur from tangling. For wet cleaning, it uses two rotating discs with soft attachments that press firmly against the surface, spin up to 200 rotations per minute to simulate hand washing, and efficiently remove dirt.

When moving onto carpets, the robot raises the mop pads by 10 mm to avoid leaving wet streaks and automatically increases suction power. The Roborock QR 798 comes with a multifunctional dock station that handles the vacuum's maintenance. After cleaning, the station unloads the collected debris, washes the pads with clean water, and dries them with hot air to prevent mold and unpleasant odors.

It features a spacious dust bag (2.7L), along with a 4-liter tank for clean water and a 3-liter reservoir for dirty water. For navigation, the model uses LiDAR: the robot scans the room in a 360-degree view, creates detailed maps, and chooses the optimal cleaning path. It also uses Reactive Tech Obstacle Avoidance to detect and avoid obstacles, preventing collisions with furniture and household items.

Control is managed through a mobile app, where you can set cleaning schedules, designate no-go zones, and adjust settings. Additionally, thanks to support for Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri, the gadget understands voice commands.
