The Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX XT liquid cooling system is a flagship closed-loop solution targeted at enthusiasts and workstation owners with Full Tower cases capable of accommodating a massive 420 mm radiator. The model's main advantage is the enormous heat dissipation area, which, paired with three 140 mm AF RGB ELITE fans, can effectively cool even HEDT-class processors, including hot chips on AMD Threadripper (sTRX4/sTR4) and Intel LGA 2066 sockets.

The fans are equipped with AirGuide technology: special anti-vortex blades on the stator focus the airflow, creating a directed stream with a value of 89 CFM, which is critically important for cooling the dense radiator. Under low loads, the system can switch to a passive mode thanks to Zero RPM profiles, completely stopping the fan blades for absolute silence. The visual centerpiece of the device is the pump head with 33 CAPELLIX LEDs, providing higher brightness and lighting density compared to traditional RGB elements; the pump's top cover is removable and allows for an upgrade to a module with an LCD screen. Control of the entire ecosystem is done through the included iCUE COMMANDER CORE hub, which manages lighting synchronization and fan speed adjustment for up to six fans. For ease of installation in large builds, the manufacturer has included 450 mm long flexible tubes and pre-applied high-efficiency XTM70 thermal paste to the base of the water block.
