Audio-Technica Wireless Microphone System BP4029

Based on models originally developed for use in the broadcast of the Sydney Games in 2000, the BP4027 (14.96" long) and BP402... more9 (9.29" long) Stereo Shotgun models are engineered for high-end broadcast and production use. Both microphones feature independent line-cardioid and figure-of-eight elements configured in an MS (Mid-Side) arrangement with switch-selectable internal matrixing. These innovative microphones allow sound recordists the choice of selecting a left-right stereo output (wide or narrow) via the microphone’s internal matrixing system or choosing discrete Mid-Side signals for later manipulation, a flexibility not available from any other manufacturer. A switchable low frequency roll-off filter helps minimize the pickup of unwanted low frequency noise. These phantom-powered models feature a rugged lightweight design and sleek black color scheme, perfect for on-camera use. Features: Designed for broadcasters, videographers and sound recordists Compact, lightweight design is perfect for camera-mount use Independent Line-cardioid and Figure-of-eight condenser elements Switchable low-frequency roll-off Switch selection of non-matrixed M-S mode and two internally-matrixed left/right stereo modes Includes a 0.61 m (24") cable (5-pin XLRF to two standard 3-pin XLRM connectors) RoHS compliant—free from all substances specified in the EU directive on hazardous substances Specifications: Transducer: Fixed-Charged Back Plate Permanently Polarized Condenser Polar Pattern: Line-Cardioid and Figure-of-Eight Frequency Response: 40Hz - 20kHz Dynamic Range (Typical)Mid: 101dB, Side: 101dB, LR Stereo: 102dB, (All at 1kHz at Maximum SPL) Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Mid: 72dB, (SPL, 1kHz at 1Pa), Side: 68dB, (SPL, 1kHz at 1Pa), LR Stereo: 70dB, (SPL, 1kHz at 1Pa) Maximum Input Sound Level: Mid: 123dB, (1kHz at 1% T.H.D.), Side: 127dB, (1kHz at 1% T.H.D.), LR Stereo: 126dB, (1kHz at 1% T.H.D.) Power Requirements: Phantom Power, 9 - 52VDC Output Impedance: 200 Ohms Output Connectors: XLR-5M Type (from Microphone), 2 XLR-3M Connectors (L+R) from Microphone's Adapter Cable Low Frequency Roll-Off: -12dB/Octave, ( at 80Hz) Dimensions (L x Diameter): 9.29x0.83" (235.96x21.08mm) Weight: 3.60oz (102.05g)

Audio-Technica BP4029 Stereo Shotgun Condenser Microphone

The Audio-Technica BP4029 Stereo Shotgun Condenser Microphone offers two internally-matrixed modes which provide traditional... more"left-right" stereo. To accommodate varying acoustic environments, the user may select between a "wide" pattern (LR-W) with increased ambient pickup and a "narrow" pattern (LR-N) which offers more rejection and less ambience. In M-S mode, the BP4029 provides independent Mid and Side signals. This allows the Mid-Side balance to be adjusted as desired at the recording desk or mixing electronics, reducing the amount of equipment necessary in the field.
