A studio-quality microphone from the portfolio of the renowned Japanese audio brand Audio-Technica. This model was released to replace the iconic AT2020 microphone, but unlike its predecessor, it features a USB output for direct connection to a computer (instead of an XLR connector). The Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Plus features a cardioid condenser capsule, which focuses on capturing sounds from the front.
The capsule covers a wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a sensitivity of up to -37 dB. Clear sound transmission is ensured by an analog-to-digital converter with a sampling rate of 16-bit/48 kHz. The microphone's body includes balance and volume monitoring wheels for connected wired headphones, which are used to monitor sound recording in real-time. One of the highest quality usb microphones considering the price category, especially since I bought the first equipment 4 years ago and recently I needed 2 microphones and went to take it) Because always on the go, the option of a permanent studio player with a phantom is not for me. The standard tripod is a nightmare; it constantly falls, and a couple of times it knocked him onto the floor because of it. I also advise you not to skimp and buy a stand, desktop or full-size. The microphone is quite heavy; not a single pantograph can properly hold it together with the spider, and when traveling, weight is important for some people use Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Plus month or more i recommend it should buy |
