8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired Controller

The wired gamepad from the updated Ultimate C line by 8BitDo, revamped compared to its predecessor in nearly all key aspects. If the original Ultimate C Wired used standard ALPS sticks and a polling rate of 250 Hz, this version upgrades both the sticks and triggers to Hall effect sensors, and the polling rate is increased fourfold — up to 1000 Hz. The contactless magnetic sensors in the sticks are complemented with wear-resistant metal rings, which in the long term protect against both drift and physical wear of the plastic around the axis — a typical issue with budget controllers after several hundred hours of use.

The bumpers and D-pad are calibrated: instead of soft silicone membranes, there are now tactile switches with a distinct click and short throw. Besides the standard set, two additional quick bumpers L4 and R4 are added, which can be reconfigured directly on the controller without installing any software — simply hold the desired combination of buttons. The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired Controller is compatible with Windows PCs and Xbox, connecting through a detachable USB-C cable 2.5 meters in length and powered by a USB port. The body features a headphone jack — a handy detail for wired headset connection without extra adapters. The layout is in the Xbox style with asymmetrical sticks. The weight is approximately 200 grams, making the controller one of the lightest in its class. It is available in four color options — mint, peach, green, and purple.
