The system is a receiver and transmitter with a built-in microphone. You can also connect an external microphone to the transmitter via a TRS mini-Jack (3.5 mm).
Single Transmitter Kit: Rode Wireless GO II Single

Wireless microphone radio system of advanced level, consisting of two lapel transmitters and a two-channel receiver for signal reception. The transmitters are equipped with built-in omnidirectional microphone capsules covering a frequency range from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. Additionally, each transmitter includes 3.5mm miniJack TRS sockets for connecting external microphones. Digital data exchange between the radio system components is conducted at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with 128-bit encryption.

A stable connection is maintained at distances up to 200 m in line of sight. Of course, in dense urban areas, the operational range will be less, but not by much. The receiver additionally features an info display to visualize settings, signal level, and remaining battery charge. It allows you to adjust sensitivity, mute, and unmute recordings. The radio system operates autonomously for approximately 7 hours and charges through USB type C ports. The radio system package includes wind protection and a storage case.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Rode Wireless GO II is a highly regarded wireless microphone system, praised for its excellent sound quality and low background noise. It features backup audio recording to the transmitters' internal memory and allows recording from two transmitters into separate channels. Users appreciate its long battery life of 6.5-7 hours and the ability to function as an audio interface when connected to a PC or smartphone. The system's build quality and bayonet-type windscreen attachment are also noted as positives. However, some drawbacks include a poor equipment package, reliance on a proprietary app for most functions, and the app's limited availability to Mac and Windows. Additionally, the microphone input cannot be switched to line mode, and the transmitter's weight distribution can be awkward. Despite these issues, users find the system's reliability and quality to outweigh the cons, making it a great choice for those needing a versatile and dependable wireless microphone solution.

great model, love it

The list of disadvantages turned out to be not small, but I believe they are mostly minor criticisms that do not significantly affect the workflow. The advantages of this system are far more valuable, which mainly translate into reliability and quality! For more detailed information on tests and a comparison with a similar system from Saramonic, I recommend watching the review on my channel: https://youtu.be/iwnOE7Su-sA
- sound quality, including low background noise level;
- backup audio recording to the transmitters' internal memory;
- recording sound from two transmitters into separate channels;
- safety channel feature;
- ability to use as an audio interface when connected to a PC or smartphone via USB;
- build quality;
- bayonet-type windscreen attachment;
- battery life (6.5-7 hours)
- poor equipment package;
- charging via case is more convenient with competitors (Saramonic, Hollyland);
- most functions are configured through the proprietary app, which reduces mobility;
- proprietary app is only for Mac and Windows, not yet available for iOS/Android;
- no option for batch export of backup recordings from the app;
- microphone input on transmitters cannot be switched to line mode;
- not very successful weight distribution, when attaching the transmitter, for example, to a shirt collar, it will sag and dangle;
- overall, the price turns out to be significantly higher compared to the aforementioned competitors if you purchase additional cables and microphones (especially original ones).
