A compact vlogging microphone for use with cameras, camcorders, and even smartphones. The model comes with a cold shoe camera mount with a tripod thread at the base. The microphone is connected to cameras via a 3.5 mm TRS jack. A connection to mobile devices and computers is established via the USB type C port, and the aforementioned 3.5 mm TRS jack can be used to monitor audio recordings using wired headphones.
The Rode VideoMic Go II has a microphone capsule with a supercardioid polar pattern. The body of the model has acoustic perforation instead of the usual linear slots. The built-in analog-to-digital converter in the microphone design provides 24-bit/48 kHz sound recording quality. In general, the model covers a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and has a sensitivity of up to -31 dB. The microphone comes with a foam windscreen. By the way, the RØDE Reporte app is used to work with a smartphone.
