Citrine rings
Citrine
— a semi-precious stone, one of the "coloured" varieties of quartz — citrines have a yellow or orange colour, but otherwise do not differ. Often such inserts are used as an addition to other precious stones (sometimes even several pieces). Because of what this mineral, not being particularly valuable, at the same time is found in quite expensive jewelry.Note that real natural citrines are quite rare. More often, jewelry manufacturers go to the trick, creating an imitation of citrine by calcining amethyst or smoky quartz. Such stones are similar in colour, but darker and have a reddish tint. In addition, natural citrine is characterized by slightly pronounced pleochroism — a change in colour when changing the angle of view; imitation stones do not have this property.
