Plush green velvet armless stool designed by Caleb Zipperer is crafted from solid red oak certified sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Councilr FSC. The wood is turned on a special lathe to create more→a remarkably thin frame rarely seen outside of bespoke designs. To master the complex process, a team of skilled craftspeople make a small number of stools each day in three stages, finishing the look with warm brass accents and velvet upholstery to soften the classic angular silhouette. Crafted from mahogany solids and tropical grained wood veneers over engineered wo more→ods, in a natural teak finish, that provides the light to dark grain pattern that defines the group. Because of the uniqueness of the wood veneer every piece is going to be slightly different. Features a shaped seat and curved slat back for added comfort.
