Tube (TT)
— these tyres combine an outer tyre with a separate inner tube; the latter is filled with pressurized air. Such a design is suitable for installation on any disc of suitable size — including and for spoked wheels where tubeless tyres are not applicable. In addition, disk deformation does not deprive such a tyre of its working properties: even with a fairly large gap between the disk and the tyre, air will be kept inside due to the chamber. This is especially important for extreme riding, especially cross-country. On the other hand, tube models are harder to repair, less reliable than tubeless models, and more susceptible to punctures. Therefore, the main scope of their application is the mentioned wheels with spokes, as well as motocross motorcycles and some enduros (see "Intended use").
