— the name of this type of cartridge is due to the fact that to install and remove the drill in it, you need to use a special key supplied in the kit. This is not very convenient, because you need to keep the key with you at all times to replace drills; and if it is lost, the cartridge becomes useless. On the other hand, key chucks hold the drill harder than keyless chucks and are generally considered to be more reliable and durable. It makes sense to choose such a cartridge for long-term work with the same drill at high loads.
