Cosmetic mirrors

— mirrors intended primarily for use when applying make-up or applying various facial cosmetics. They are small in size, often mounted on a movable wall mount that allows you to move the mirror (usually in a horizontal plane, within 30 – 50 cm); however, there are models without movable mounts.

An almost obligatory function for such mirrors is magnification: the working surface is made concave, which makes the image look larger than it actually is. This allows you to carefully consider even the smallest details on the face and apply makeup with the highest quality. At the same time, many cosmetic mirrors are made double-sided: on the one hand there is a magnifying surface, on the other — a regular one. However, there are also one-sided products that only increase.

Also, for maximum convenience, mirrors of this type can be provided with backlighting (see "Additionally"), however, it is relatively rare — noticeably less than, for example, among wall mirrors.
