Depth gauge

— a device that allows you to limit the depth of penetration of the working nozzle into the material being processed. The specific design of the limiter may be different — depending on the type of tool and working nozzle; however, all such devices have a similar purpose. First, they prevent drilling, sawing, etc. too deep (which in some cases can be fraught with unpleasant consequences). Secondly, this function allows you to make grooves or holes of a given depth "in one go", without constant control measurements — just set the limiter to the desired value.
