In models without this function, the compressor has only one mode of operation (full power), and the desired heating/cooling intensity is ensured by turning the compressor on and off at regular intervals. In turn, inverter systems allow you to constantly keep the compressor on and smoothly adjust its power, selecting it according to the needs of the situation. It reduces wear and tear on air conditioner components, prevents power surges, reduces noise levels and saves energy. The main disadvantages of inverters are high cost and sensitivity to mains quality (a voltage stabilizer is highly desirable for such an air conditioner).
