Side platform

— a small protrusion on the side of the work surface, which acts as an additional support for cut pieces of tiles. This is especially convenient when working with large tile fragments: it reduces the likelihood that the cut fragment will fall from the tile cutter under its own weight, breaking and ruining the cut line.
