This scale allows you to estimate the distance to objects visible on the screen; the accuracy of such a “ruler” is relatively low (besides, it strongly depends on the correctness of the camera installation), however, anyway, it is easier to estimate the distance using it than “by eye”. And in some models of cameras, parking marks also play the role of a position indicator, which makes it even easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces.
