Garmin navigation systems are used in hiking, cycling, conquering the water surface, air spaces, and, of course, in road transport. The BC 30 wireless rearview camera will help you upgrade the functionality of your car navigator.
Wireless connection
The model is claimed to be compatible with dozens of Garmin Nuvi series GPS navigators. The signal comes to them "over the air" at a distance of up to 13 m and is received by a complete cable, in which a traffic information receiver is mounted. It is no longer necessary to disassemble the interior in order to throw a video cable from the camera closer to the dashboard. Accordingly, almost every ordinary motorist will cope with the tasks of installing the device.
Shooting modes
The remote unit with the camera works in two modes: “covers the rear” on an ongoing basis (the picture from the video camera is displayed on demand) or it starts up when reverse gear is engaged. Upon completion of the reverse manoeuvre, the image from the camera ceases to be broadcast on the screen of the autonavigator.
Visual control
On top of the image from the video camera, which shoots at a maximum resolution of 640x480 pixels, lines of parking markings are superimposed. They help to estimate the distance to obstacles behind the car. In one sitting, up to 4 BC 30 series cameras can be linked to a Garmin GPS navigator, which allows you to control the situation on all fronts. A complete set of video cameras will be especially relevant for inexperienced drivers driving large vehicles and SUVs.
The image is transmitted to the GPS-navigator (not included)
