Ladle

— a tool also known as a "scoop". It is similar in design to a kitchen spoon, but the bowl of a ladle is usually round, deeper and fixed almost perpendicular to the handle. The best-known and most popular use of such devices is to pour soup into bowls; however, they can also be used for other purposes, such as stirring while cooking. In addition, there are specialized varieties of ladles — in particular, for sauce: such a tool has a bowl with an elongated "spout", convenient for carefully adding sauce to a particular product.
