Cascade spout
— spouts of a peculiar design: they do not look like a tube, but a trough or a wide slot, and water flows out of such a spout in a characteristic cascade (hence the name). The advantages of such spouts are the original appearance and good throughput, the disadvantages are the high cost and narrow specialization (for bathtubs, less often for washbasins).
