Adding devices is done through the app in "quick" or "compatible" mode, after which scenes, notifications, and linkage to cloud services are available. New devices with Matter connect to Google/Apple/Amazon, but basic functionality and automations remain in the Tuya app; if desired, everything can be linked to voice assistants.
