— rubber mats are used when working with paving slabs, curbstone and other relatively delicate materials that a “bare” metal sole can chip or scratch. In this case, the presence of such a rug in the kit is implied — this eliminates the need to buy it separately, besides, the complete rug optimally fits the size of the sole.
