— intercoms, the design of which includes a handset on a wire — like in classic landline phones. You have to hold such a handset in your hand during a conversation, which is not always convenient. On the other hand, the “telephone” format of the conversation itself is more familiar to many users, and working with the basic functions of such an intercom is extremely simple: to answer, just pick up the phone, and hang up to hang up. Also note that the voice of the interlocutor in the handset is usually heard better than in the external speaker; hears it, however, only the one who holds the phone, but this can be both a disadvantage and a virtue, depending on the situation.
