— externally, saws for drywall are similar to tools for wood (see the relevant paragraph), however, the design of the teeth has some features associated with the characteristics of the material being cut. For example, in standard drywall saws (see "Type"), every 6 to 8 teeth are separated by a notch, which improves efficiency. However, most models for this purpose are of a narrow type.
