— a classic, widespread type of hacksaw: with an elongated blade, tapering towards the end, and a D-shaped handle or a similar shape. These tools are designed primarily for applications that do not require high precision or performance; at the same time, they are quite diverse in purpose (see the relevant paragraph), they can be produced for various types of materials, with the possible exception of metal.
