The simplest option is the operation of a roller grinding system (see the relevant paragraph), when the gear simultaneously cuts and draws the material. However, auto-feed can also be found in other types of shredders. Anyway, such a function significantly “simplifies life” for the operator, eliminating the need to manually push the material being processed (although such a need may arise, but only in some rare cases).
