— models designed for branches do a good job with thick dry wood — even in the most modest models, the maximum thickness of the processed material is a couple of centimeters. But their use for leaves and other “soft” debris, usually, is not justified — coarse grinding systems are not able to effectively process such materials. Therefore, it makes sense to purchase such a chopper only for work related to pruning trees.
