Firstly, the lunch box has several compartments separated by vertical partitions; this allows you to load different types of products inside (for example, salad, main course and dessert), without mixing them together and having access to all contents at the same time. Secondly, such containers are designed for use not only when storing food, but also as dinnerware; for this purpose, convenient hinged lids are often provided in the design, cutlery may be included in the delivery set (see "Packaging"), compartments in some models can be removed separately, etc.
