Gin glasses

For gin

— for a gin and tonic cocktail, spherical stemmed glasses are used (commonly known as "copa" or balloon glasses). They are spacious, with a wide bowl that allows for adding plenty of ice, garnishes (lime, cucumber, spices) and preserving the aroma thanks to the narrow neck.

For serving gin in its pure form, low glasses of the "old-fashioned" type are usually used—wide, with a thick bottom, ideal for strong drinks with ice.
